Coffee Naps: Drink a cup then take a 20 minute snooze

Drinking caffeinated coffee and then taking nap don't sound like they would go hand in hand.

But it might be the perfect combination to be as alert as possible.

Here's what scientists say according to Vox.com.

Drink your cup of coffee - then lay down for a snooze - but only sleep for about 20 minutes.

That's how long researchers say it takes for the caffeine to kick in in your brain.

Basically, you’re waking up just as the caffeine erases the molecule which makes us feel drowsy.

Some research has shown people who took a 15 minute coffee nap drove better than those who didn't and performed better on memory tests.
