27-Year-Old Rape Victim Speaks Out

Posted: Updated:
A 27 year old woman is speaking out about her claims that she was raped. Desiree Patton says alleges that her assailant "put my hands behind my back and cuffed me.”

Patton says she wants everyone to know what she says happened to her. How she was hurt, bruised and forcibly raped at a home in Torrance. Police identify the suspect as 43 year old Guy Dietz. On the Megan's Law website it shows he was convicted of rape by force or fear in 1998 and served  time for that conviction.

Patton tells me in the lobby of the Torrance Police Station “I said you (Dietz) an officer? He said ‘yes, I'm Torrance Undercover Special Unit.”

Sgt. Paul Kranke says Dietz "...did impersonate a police officer." and adds after the alleged assault Dietz fled endng up in Monterey County where he was arrested by real officers, at about the same time I was talking with Patton in Torrance. She walked with a limp and said it was from being hurt in the incident. And, she totally bought the suspect's impersonation.

Patton says "He was very good at it. Very good! Everything was like he was an off duty officer. And, he basically blackmailed me at first and then forced himself on me. (Hal: Blackmailing you by saying…”) He's an officer. He can make the report anything he wants it to be. He'll take me to jail, stuff like that. (Hal: You did whatever he wanted because?) I felt I was in danger.”

Patton says Dietz found her through an agency ad. She's an exotic dancer and goes by the name Cashmere. Reservations are made online. She goes to people's homes to dance for a living… just dances, she says and then adds "but, for someone to take something that was not offered to you. That's just wrong.”

As for Dietz, now that he has been arrested, she says "I hope he stays in jail for the rest of his life. I hope someone in jail does to him what he did to me. So,he can see how it feels.”

And, as to why she has gone public she toldme “So many women have been abused and raped and stuff like that. And, I don't want to be another quiet person. I want this guy to get the maximum penalty.”

As for Guy Dietz he was arrested in Monterey County after a pursuit that reached speeds of 90 to 140 miles and hour according to authorities at the Monterey County Sheriffs Department. It was a short chase, they say, but during a manhunt that lasted for hours he was found in a homeless encampment inside of a tent. Both he and his wife were arrested.

UPDATE: In our original video posted on Friday, we had a sample clip of Skin City Strippers, a local Southern California company that specializes in exotic dancers for bachelor, bachelorette, birthday parties, or any other type of event, but removed it because the company was not involved in this story.
