DC police release composite sketch in 3 sexual assaults possibly related

WASHINGTON -

D.C. police have released a composite sketch of a possible suspect in three sexual assaults that may be possibly related.

The assaults all occurred within five days of each other in the Fourth District.

The first attack happened last Wednesday at around 2:03 a.m. when a man attempted to talk to the female victim on Mt. Pleasant Street. As she turned onto Kenyon Street, the suspect groped the victim under her clothes. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with long dark hair and approximately 26 to 32 years old.

The second incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 2:35 a.m. when a suspect with a knife approached the victim from behind, grabbed her around the neck and groped her under her clothing. After a struggle, the victim was stabbed. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in late 20s to early 30s, 5'4”, stocky build, cleaned shaven, short hair, wearing a blue, green and white polka dot button down collar shirt, and the red, black and white Chicago Bulls baseball cap.

The latest assault happened on Sunday at 3:10 a.m. A woman was groped walking in an alley in the 1700 block of Park Road. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in mid 20's, 5'4", black hair that was gelled/slicked back, and wearing a black short sleeve polo shirt and blue jeans.
