3-Year-Old Golfer Shows His Skills On The Golf Course

Posted: Updated:
LINWOOD, N.J. -

A 3-year-old boy can hit a golf ball better than most grown-ups. Tommy Morrissey only has one arm, but that's not a problem when it comes to playing the sport he loves.

FOX 29's Jenn Frederick hit the links with him on Tuesday at the Linwood Country Club.

Tommy was born at Brynmawr Hospital with one arm. Doctors believe his right arm didn't develop below the elbow due to a blood clot. Tommy refers to his short arm as “Nemo,” like the fish from the Disney movie, “Finding Nemo.” However, that hasn't stopped the talented 3-year-old. Golfing seems to come naturally to the young boy. His parents and the community describe him as a daily inspiration.

As Tommy grew up, his family quickly noticed that he took a special interest in golf. According to his family, Tommy and his dad, Joe, started watching golf together when Tommy was just 1 years old. Tommy would mimic the golfers on TV and the young boy even recognized the golfers by name starting at a young age. Tommy's favorite golfer has always been Bubba Watson.

The boy's skills on the golf course even brings grown men to tears. In addition to golf, Tommy also plays football and soccer.

This little man will surely melt your heart, especially if you have ever struggled to play golf. Watch some of Tommy's unbelievable skills in the video above.
