Police: 180 grams of cocaine found in man's Gurnee home

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A north suburban man is facing felony drug charges after police found about 180 grams of cocaine at his home last week.

Francisco Sosa, 34, is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and possession of cannabis, according to a statement from Waukegan police.

Detectives executed a search warrant Thursday at his home in the 36000 block of Traer Terrace in unincorporated Gurnee, police said.

About 180 grams of cocaine and 15 grams of marijuana were found, along with almsot $5,000 in cash, police said.

Sosa was held at the Lake County Jail on $200,000 bond, police said. He is next scheduled to appear in court Sept. 10.
