TSA agents trained to recognize identification from Washington, D.C.

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON - TSA agents will now be trained to recognize valid forms of identification from Washington, D.C.

D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton met with top TSA officials last week, after a series of flubs where D.C. residents were stopped and questioned because their licenses weren't state issued ID's.
TSA says they will work to start recognizing the 3-different types of D.C. licenses currently in circulation.

In July, a TSA agent in Orlando refused to let a D.C. man through a security checkpoint because he didn't recognize his District of Columbia driver's license as a valid form of identification.
