FREDERICK, Md. - Police in Maryland say a man bearing a full face tattoo is one of two suspects facing assault charges following an early morning fight in Frederick.

Just before 3 a.m. Monday morning, Frederick police were called to Baker Place East.  They say a large fight was taking place, and two people were taken to the hospital as a result. The victims' wallets were also stolen.

Officers followed a trail of blood to a nearby apartment, and found a group of people believed to be involved in the altercation.  Among them were 32-year-old David Tyrone Harris, Jr.-- whose mug shot shows his full face tattoo-- and 18-year-old Daontae Keenan Diggs, who officers say are believed to be responsible for the assaults that took place.

Both Harris and Diggs are charged with second-degree assault and strong armed robbery.  They were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.

Two other people were taken into custody on outstanding warrants not related to the incident.

Frederick police say they're continuing to investigate, and they ask for anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Detective Jeffery Putman at 301-600-4112. Callers may remain anonymous and contact the Frederick Police Department Crime Tip Line at 301-600-TIPS.
