Rare Albino Buffalo Born At Wisconsin Farm

Posted: Updated:

A rare albino buffalo was born at a Wisconsin Farm on Wednesday.

The owners of the Armstrong Creek bison farm were shocked when the white newborn calf entered the world. That's because albino buffalos are reported to be extremely rare.

The farm owners say not only is the baby calf rare it's also like no calf they've seen before noting most albinos have pink features unlike the farms new addition, which has a dark nose and eyes .

“It's a true white buffalo. The albinos have the pink nose and pink features around the eye. The actually has a dark nose, dark eyes," said Farm Owner Stephen Wysocki. "I told my son, "Boy take a good look it might be the only one you ever see".

True white buffalo births happen only once in a million births.
