1 stabbed during fight at Chandler golf course

CHANDLER, Ariz. - One person was stabbed early Thursday morning at a golf course near Arizona Avenue and Riggs Road.

A group of people reportedly got into a fight at the Bear Creek Golf Course. At some point, one person was stabbed.

The person had minor injuries, but was taken to a hospital for treatment. According to police, the victim works at the golf course.

Officers say they arrived at the scene as a vehicle was fleeing.

After driver failed to stop for officers, a pursuit began.

Police say they followed the vehicle onto the Gila River Indian reservation and then it backed into one of their vehicles.

The vehicle eventually crashed into a canal at Dobson Road and Goodyear Road.

Three suspects were taken into custody.

All of the people involved in the fight know each other. Police say the fight may have stemmed from a family argument that happened a few days ago.

No name have been released.
