Cleanup begins after 3-day Lollapalooza music fest

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The day after the city's biggest party, crews got to work on the cleanup process.

Organizers say 100,000 people showed up each day for the Lollapalooza music festival in Grant Park. The even sold out each day.

While most of the Chicago area did not get any rain Sunday, Grant Park was soaked. The heavy rains left the fields of Grant Park and music fans a muddy mess.

In the past, damage to the grass and vegetation in the area have cost as $1 million. The money for the repairs will come from the producers of the event.
