Police searching for robber armed with machete

 Phoenix Police are looking for a pair of suspects who are accused of threatening a store clerk with a machete.

The crime happened a month ago on July 1st at about 2:40am at a Shell gas station near 54th Avenue and Indian School.  Police say the suspect, a Hispanic teenager, was armed with a machete.  He followed the clerk behind the register and motioned that he was about to hit the victim with the machete.  Both suspects demanded the cash and then took off from the store on foot.

Both suspects are described as Hispanic young men, five foot five inches, 120 pounds and 16 to 18 years old.  Call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS if you know who they may be; you can remain anonymous.
