Hazmat Crews On Scene Following Knights Road Explosion

Philadelphia Hazmat crews are working to control the scene of an explosion causes by a Freon leak.

The explosion occurred at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday night inside Rush School on Knights and Fairdale Roads.

Fire crews responded to the explosion to find that an acid Hazmat box had exploded in the school's basement.

No surrounding homes have been evacuated, and one man has been transported to Torresdale Hospital with injuries.
