3 Boy Scouts Save Life Of Drowning Man

Posted: Updated:

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK- Three heroes emerge in Oklahoma after three boy scouts help save a drowning man.

Joshua, Robby and Jon Wyckoff were boating on Lake Arcadia over the weekend, and were just about to head home.

Mark Wyckoff, the boys' father, was already on land getting their truck ready to dock the boat.

But that's when they heard a man calling for help in the water.

"I witnessed him sink 3-4 times under water and was very much struggling to stay above water I just don't know if he had made it," said Mark.

So the quick thinking boy scouts worked together tossed the man a life jacket and reeled him in, saving his life.

The three brothers, ages 15, 13, and 10 will still need to pass an online test in order to gain an official Search and Rescue Badge from their Boy Scout troop.

But for their family and the man saved from drowning, they are already heroes.
