ATLANTA, Ga. -

Thousands of fans gathered at the Georgia Dome Tuesday night to watch an entertainment power couple perform.

The line started forming early outside the Dome with fans eagerly anticipating the Beyonce and Jay Z concert. The couple is in town for their “On the Run” tour.

Beyonce and Jay Z performed before a sold-out crowd of more than 50 thousand people.

Officials feared major traffic issues due to the construction of the new Falcons stadium and urged concert goers to take MARTA.

There are about 1,300 fewer parker spaces than normal.

Many fans arrived early to the concert around 2:00 p.m. and many fans arrived around 8:00 p.m. when the show started.

“I expected it to be a lot worse, but it was better than I expected,” said concertgoer Andrea Pyron on traffic congestion.

Traffic created few problems getting into the concert even though it was heavy at times.
