(WJBK) - UPDATE July 16: Garden City Police say Judy Gonzales has been located. No further details on her condition or where she was located were provided. Below is the original report on her disappearance.
_____________

A 75-year-old woman has been missing after she was seen leaving Garden City Hospital, her family tells Fox 2.

Judy Gonzalez was last seen around 3 p.m. Monday, July 14. Her family says she has bipolar and dementia, and that she will become more confused the longer she is without her medication.

She is described as being 4 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. She may still be wearing her hospital bracelet.

Family says her cell phone is dead and that she hasn't eaten in two days. Gonzales was supposed to be getting her feeding tube replaced, a procedure her family says scared her.

A hospital spokesperson says Gonzales left the hospital before the procedure began. The spokesperson says Gonzales walked out of the ambulance entrance and that nurses tried to stop her.

Her family says she lives at a nursing home and is not likely to return there.

If you see her or know of her whereabouts you're asked to call Garden City Police.
