WOODSTOCK, Ill. (AP) - A suburban Chicago man who killed four people in a 1999 drunk-driving crash has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol on the same road last year.

The (Arlington Heights) Daily Herald reports that prosecutors will argue that 62-year-old Walter J. Depner of Mount Prospect should receive the maximum 10 years in prison when he returns to court on Aug. 29 for sentencing on a charge of aggravated DUI.

Depner pleaded guilty on Monday to being drunk in February 2013 when his truck struck a snowbank along Route 120 in McHenry County.

In 1999, Depner was drunk when his minivan slammed into a vehicle on the same road. A woman and her three children died. Depner was convicted of reckless homicide and spent eight years in prison.
