BENGHAZI SUSPECT - 11:00 a.m. The man charged in the terror attacks in Benghazi, Libya in 2012 is scheduled to be back in D.C. federal court on this morning. Ahmed Abu Khattala, who has pleaded not guilty to a conspiracy charge, will appear for a status hearing. Abu Khattala is the only suspect to be arrested in the attack on that killed U.S. ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. Federal prosecutors have said in court papers that Abu Khattala organized the attacks. Defense attorneys have complained they haven't gotten all the evidence from prosecutors that they are entitled to.

MARYLAND GAMBLING REVENUES UP : The switch to live table games and dealers appears to be paying off for Maryland's casinos. Maryland's four casinos brought in $72 million in revenue in June, an 8% increase over a year ago state officials reported Monday. Maryland Live Casino, the biggest earner of all casinos on the East Coast that offer both slots and table games, generated the biggest share, $56.5 million from slot machines and table games, the Maryland Lottery &Gaming Control Agency said revenue for Maryland Live jumped nearly 10%over June 2013.

JUDGE TO SCOTUS: STFU - U.S. District Judge Richard George Kopf sounded off on the Supreme Court's recent decision on Burwell v. Hobby Lobby by telling it to "STFU."
Kopf is a George W. Bush appointee who has made several controversial comments in the past, including telling Congress to "go to hell" and telling female clerks to "tone it down" and dress more conservatively. In his latest opinion, he wrote that the Court's decision on Burwell v. Hobby Lobby "looks stupid and smells worse. As the kids say, it is time for the Court to stfu."

VETERANS CARE HEARING - 7:30 p.m. Capitol Hill is usually a quiet place the week after the 4th of July, but House Republicans has turned to a series of Primetime hearings to expose the failures in the Veterans Administrations care for veterans. The hearings today focus on exposing inadequate service provided to veterans and ensuring appropriate accountability. But the timing, right at the dinner hour allow national coverage by cable channels and an audience that normally isn't near a TV when most house hearings are hello. Cannon House Building Room 334
