Did Detroit Police cross the line when they arrested an 11-year-old boy?

DETROIT (WJBK) - Ti-yay Nelson was handcuffed and placed into a back of a Detroit Police cruiser.  He says his friend wrongly accused him of being an accomplice in a theft crime. He was taken into juvenile custody for 24-hours.  He says police threatened him.  He says he was there was an incident in the showers perpetrated by other juveniles.  Charges against Ti-yay were dropped, but his mother is outraged.
