Grandmother charged with kidnapping her 3 grandchildren

Posted: Updated:

A Hall County grandmother is charged with 3 counts of kidnapping after deputies found her three grandchildren with her early Monday morning.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Levi's Call Sunday night for the children, 3-year-old Andrew Kane Mull, 4-year-old Kyah Navae Hooks and 7-year-old Paula Danielle Mull.

Hall County deputies located the children and their maternal grandmother, Becky Ramsey McCollum, at around 4 a.m. Monday morning.

The statewide alert was issued after the children and their grandmother were last seen at around 8 a.m. Saturday on the 2300 block of Broadway Drive in Gainesville.

The alert indicated McCollum is a mental health patient and deputies believed she was off her medication at the time of their disappearance.

Deputies returned the children to their mother unharmed Monday morning.

Authorities did not indicate where they located McCollum and the children.
