Miracle baby beats the odds, turns 1

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A baby born with a 30 percent chance of survival beats the odds and celebrates his first birthday.
Connor Sorensen was born at 24 weeks last June and only weighed 14 oz.
He’s the smallest baby ever born at Florida Hospital in Orlando.
Connor has undergone blood transfusions and five surgeries, but doctors say he’s healthy and catching up to his peers.
Doctors say all thought of Connor suffering lung problems, cerebral palsy and other ailments are no longer things his parents have to worry about.
Fox 35’s Tracy Jacim has the story.
