Authorities: Suspect Shot In Police-Involved Shooting In Olney

SkyFOX was live over the scene of a police-involved shooting at Mascher and Champlost Streets in Olney shortly after 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say a 55-year-old man in a GMC Denali was pulled over, and struggled with 35th district officers while bring frisked.

The suspect then pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed the handgun at officers, according to authorities.

Police say the suspect may have fired one shot at officers, then both officers discharged their guns multiples time, striking the suspect multiple times.

According to police, they recovered his gun, and what they believe is marijuana at the scene.

None of the officers were injured.

The man was taken to Einstein in critical condition.
