Teen killed in Riverdale shooting

Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that killed a teenager in Riverdale.

According to police, the shooting happened around 8:42 a.m. on the 400 block of Clara Drive.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located an unconscious 18-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to a local medical center where he died.

Authorities have identified the victim as 18-year-old Darius Edwards. Neighbors say a group of teens were playing with a handgun at the time of the shooting. Police have not confirmed the circumstances surrounding the shooting. 

No arrests have been made in this case.
