If you are heading down the shore this weekend, make sure you hit the seafood festival in Belmar, New Jersey, at Silver Lake Park. From roasted clams, jumbo shrimp, lobster, Vinnie from Mr. Shrimp says he has it all -- healthy food and deliciously fried food, too. Plus, it's free to enter.

Enjoy music, BBQ, and craft beer with the backdrop of the New York Botanical Garden this weekend. The Big Backyard BBQ is this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Critically acclaimed acoustic-based rock band The Lone Bellow will kick off the concerts and outdoor games make the event a perfect stop for families celebrating Dad.

Dance your way back to the 20s at The Jazz Age Lawn party on Governors Island. Experience a day in the prohibition era with flappers and fedoras while listening to the Dreamland Orchestra. Activities include a Charlestown Dance Contest and carnival games for your little gents. Tickets are available on www.jazzagelawnparty.com.

From Star Wars to Captain America, The Long Island Comic Con has it all.
