Gurnee man never returns from bicycle ride

GURNEE, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Authorities are asking for help in finding a 57-year-old north suburban man who went for a bicycle ride and never returned Sunday.

The family of Andrew Adler last saw him about 9 a.m. at his home on the south side of Gurnee, a statement from Gurnee police said.

At the time, he told family members he was going for a bike ride. He was wearing black shorts and riding a blue Cannondale bicycle, the Lake County News-Sun is reporting.

Adler is described as a white man, 5-foot-10 and 140 pounds with brown and gray hair, and blue eyes.
