VIRGINIA UBER FIGHT – The popular car ride app Uber is locked in a heated battle with the Commonwealth of Virginia.  On Thursday, after months of squabbles with Virginia officials, Uber was ordered to stop operating in Virginia because it’s said to be in violation of current rules governing such services. Terry McAuliffe.  Uber says it’s reasoning for continuing to operate during the ban is that in their opinion the rules cited by officials with Virginia’s Department of Motor Vehicles don’t apply to them.
