Nine hurt when vehicle rear-ends CTA bus

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Nine people suffered minor injuries when a vehicle rear-ended a CTA bus making a stop Thursday afternoon in the on the South Side.

The crash happened about 4:36 p.m., when the vehicle rear-ended a No. 3 King Drive bus standing at a bus stop near 63rd Street, CTA spokeswoman Lambrini Lukidis said.

Nine people were taken from the crash to hospitals, none with serious injuries, Fire Media Affairs said.

Those injured included four people from the vehicle, four passengers on the bus and the CTA operator, Lukidis said.
