It happened around 4pm Sunday afternoon on Fort Street. A man believed to be in his 30's was gunned down in a grassy area by another man who ran away. One witness tells Fox 2 emergency crews tried unsuccessfully to revive the victim. Then, the suspect turned himself in to police.

"He came, he gave his name, threw his hands up. He said, 'I'm Raphael, I did the shooting,'" witness Terry Payne told Fox 2.

It's not clear what connection if any the men had to the area. Lincoln Park police are still investigating. When we get more information, we'll pass it along.
