Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson tribute show canceled in Auburn Hills

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WJBK) -- The Cirque du Soleil show "Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour" will no longer be coming to metro Detroit.

Cirque du Soleil announced Friday that the shows scheduled for July 1 and 2 at the Palace of Auburn Hills are canceled.

They said they needed to make schedule adjustments to maximize logistics and routing.

Shows were also canceled in Salt Lake City, Utah; Rio Rancho,N.M.M; and Topeka, Kan.

Customers who purchased tickets by phone or online will receive automatic refunds.  Customers who purchased tickets in person must return then to the place of purchase for a refund.
