Wedding Proposal Video Spans 4 Years And 26 Countries

Posted: Updated:

MISSOULA, M.T.- On September 30th, 2010, Jack Hyer made an entry in his travel journal.

It simply read, "I'm going to marry this girl eventually."

The girl he's referring to, Rebecca Strellnauer. A girl he'd known since middle school but didn’t start dating until their days at the University of Montana.

Jack would then spend the next four years traveling the world.

While he was on the road in 2010, he got the idea to begin working on a proposal video.

The video would include him lip-synching different parts of The Proclaimers song "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" in all different parts of the world.

Jack's own proclamation came to fruition when he returned from his trip, finished video in hand and proposed to Rebecca on the night of their graduation.

Just before pulling out the ring and getting on one knee, Jack steals the breath of everyone around them saying "The best adventure I've ever had is loving Becca, and I never want to go on another adventure without her."

As you may have already guessed, Rebecca said "Yes."
