Elderly woman shocked by gunfire at senior facility

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA, Ga. -

A woman tells FOX 5 there were shots fired through her room at a senior living center and she's now living in fear.

Pauline Logine, 76, says a single bullet shattered her window early Wednesday morning. It then ripped through a pillow and broke a lamp.

Logine lives at Heritage Station which is a mixed use facility. Younger people live at the apartment homes mixed in with elderly people at the senior village.

“It’s just a nerve wracking thing to wake up like that and know something like this is in the neighborhood,” said Logine.

There are no suspects at this time.

Logine says she wants to move to another location but can't afford to do so right now.
