More than a dozen teen girls busted for brawls

Posted: Updated:

Viscous brawls in Douglasville have led to the arrests of more than a dozen teenage girls.

According to police, the kids are out of control and officers are baffled by the violence.

The fights were captured on cell phones and the girls have uploaded them to YouTube.

Some of the footage includes on the ground smack downs, punches and one girl taking a sock filled with gravel and smacking another girl across the face.

According to the Douglasville Police Chief, 15 teenage girls have recently been arrested in fights like this.

Earlier this month, FOX 5 reported on a scuffle at the Arbor Place Mall. Police think the same girls, or their friends, are starting these fights and bringing them to Douglas County High.

Police are not done arresting people from these fights and still have warrants out for eight more people.
