ATLANTA, Ga. -
Authorities spent Thursday afternoon investigating a double shooting at a home in Atlanta.
The initial call for help came in Thursday morning around 11:30 a.m. as a home invasion/robbery on Imperial Drive.
According to Atlanta Police, two teens were shot -- one in the arm and another in the leg -- during the robbery.
The homeowner's boyfriend was at the home and shot the teens. According to Atlanta Police, this is not the first break in attempt at the home. Due to that incident, the homeowner did not want to leave the house unattended.
Police say after the shooting victims fled the scene to Fire Station No. 9 on the 3500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. And EMS workers were called to assist the victims at the station.
Nearby, Therrell High School was placed on a soft lockdown while police investigated the situation.
