PHILADELPHIA -

Police are investing a double shooting in West Philadelphia that left a woman and man injured in a hospital. It appears to be the result of an alleged love triangle.

The first shooting happened on Thursday just after midnight.  A 41-year old man who police confirmed to be a husband, came to a home on the 5700 block of Walton St.

The suspect fired a shot while standing outside of the home at his wife’s boyfriend.

After leaving the home, police say he then went to 5800 block of Delancy St. where he shot his wife multiple times in the head, neck and chest. She is listed in critical condition at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania.

The suspect later turned himself in to police at 1:41am. There is no word on what charges he is facing at this time.
