Chicago Girl Writes Letter To The President And First Lady To Stop Violence

Posted: Updated:

Chicago, IL- One Chicago girl says she fears for her life because of all the violence in the Windy City, so she decided to take her concerns to the President of the United States.

9-year-old Taylor Woods wrote a letter to President Barack Obama and the First Lady voicing her frustration and fears.

"I am tired of hearing about children being killed. Sometimes, I worry about someone coming to my school and start shooting. This has to stop," Woods said.

Taylor is still waiting for a response from the White House.
