Chemical fire evacuates Kennesaw building

Crews are on the scene of what was a small fire at a building in Kennesaw.

It happened on the 1600 block of Roberts Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. Monday.

According to Cobb County Fire, the small fire was extinguished by the sprinkler system. Authorities say a machine caught fire and that the chemicals in the machine are not dangerous.

Crews are surveying the building to ensure it's safety, at this time.
