(FOX 11) Arson investigators are looking into an attack overnight in Boyle Heights. Four separate families were firebombed with flaming Molotov cocktails by a group of arsonists a little after midnight Monday. It happened on the 1300 blocks of Crusado Lane and Vanegas Lane in the Ramona Gardens housing complex.
Authorities say the attacks may have been racially motivated. The initial police call indicated all four families targeted are black, the group of four arsonists are reportedly Hispanic.
Some of the Molotov cocktails bounced off the apartment windows and landed into the grass.
