Is Godzilla Too Fat? We Ask The Stars!

Los Angeles, CA -

We haven't see very much of Godzilla in the trailer or clips of the new movie. At first, it seemed like a strategic plan from Director Gareth Edwards. Now, some Japanese fans are calling out the giant lizard saying he's gained weight. Some stars agree, while others don't.

"No, no, I don't think so," actor Ken Watanabe said. Watanabe plays doctor Daisuke Serizawa in the movie. "Godzilla gets great exercise in the Pacific Ocean," Watanabe said.

Comedian Anthony Anderson disagrees. "Godzilla is a glutton, so he might be. But he has to be big," Anderson said

From Gene Simmons to Elizabeth Olsen stars weighed in on the size of the new Godzilla.

"There's no such thing as too big," Simmons said.

"When you see him in the movie I don't think you think about that. I think people need to give monster's weight a break," Olsen said.

Actor CJ Adams says Godzilla looks a bit bigger this time around. "I hate to embarrass him, but yes," Adams said.

As for the biggest star of the movie, Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston, he pulled away before we could ask.

So has Godzilla gained a few? You decide! The movie comes out in theaters Friday, May 16th.
