LONDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) - One man is dead and two others are wounded after a shooting early Sunday morning in London Township.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a fight broke out at a home in the 14000 block of Rawsonville Road around 3:30am. According to witnesses, the homeowner fired three warning shots into the ground to break up the fight. Soon after, the scuffle resumed. A 32-year-old Romulus man retrieved a gun from his vehicle shooting a 35-year-old Taylor man in the chest.

Police say the man who owned the home grabbed his gun again fatally shooting the Romulus man in the chest. A woman from Brownstown Township also received a minor gunshot wound to her hand.

The Taylor man and Brownstown Township woman are being treated at area hospitals. Right now, police aren't releasing the name of the Romulus man. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
