FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WJBK) -
Parents and students in Farmington Hills will see more police officers around bus stops in the coming days. The department is increasing patrols after an 8-year-old student says a strange man tried to lure him to a car.
Investigators say it happened at a bus stop near Cranleigh and Briarwyke Drives around 4:30pm Friday. A suspect described as a white man, about six-feet tall with a skinny build, approached the child and told him to get into his vehicle. The child did not comply and made it home safely. The car involved is described as a four-door white vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call Farmington Hills Police at  (248) 871-2610.
