Jillian Michaels: Maximize Your Life

Posted: Updated:

"On the bad days I go 'you know what, look at how lucky I am'..."

That's Jillian Michaels telling Steve and Maria how she gets pumped up to motivate people even when she's having a rough day. Jillian is coming to Southern California with her "Maximize Your Life Tour" next week and talked about it on Good Day LA. One question she was asked? Why is a fitness guru doing a motivational type tour?

"It's never been about fitness. Fitness is just a tool that I've utilized very effectively for many years to help people build a better life...when you're strong physically you're empowered in every facet of your life."

Jillian also talked about how she feeds off her audiences and gets motivated by their energy during her show.

"That's really why I wanted to do this. So I can go out and have that direct connection with the audience...it's a very interactive show, it's an ongoing dialogue with everybody that's sitting with me in the theater, it's very intimate...the rewarding aspect of being able to hug these people and talk to them and look them in the eye, I just love it."

Jillian Michaels and her "Maximize Your Life Tour" will be in Anaheim on May 16th at the City National Grove and L.A. May 17th at the Saban Theatre.
