GERMANTOWN, Md. - Students at two Montgomery County schools were evacuated Tuesday morning due to bomb threats.

The threats were made through phone calls to Northwest High in Germantown and Northwood High in Silver Spring.

Students at both schools were moved to nearby schools while police investigated.

The students were later allowed back into their schools after nothing was found.

Officials say they are investigating the source of the phone calls.
