In 2013, 26 year old Ethan Saylor died while he was being removed from a Frederick movie theater by sheriff's deputies in. Ethan had Down's syndrome and police say became he became uncontrollable. They handcuffed Ethan be died of asphyxiation while he was being removed. Today, Ethan's mother Patti will testify before a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee alongside Federal &local law enforcement officials about what they say is a lack of training that needs to be corrected. WHISTLEBLOWER HEARING - 2:00 p.m. Are officials at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau here in DC trying to squash a Congressional investigation into discrimination at the Bureau? The Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations had asked three CFPB officials to testify at the hearing, including a federal employee union official. A Congressional investigators is expected to report findings of "exclusion, retaliation, discrimination, nepotism, demoralization, devaluation, and other offensive working conditions" at CFPB. VIRGINIA SAME SEX LICENSE FLOOD - Virginia officials say they're going to face a flood of paperwork If the U.S. Supreme Court clears the way for same-sex marriage across the nation. Arlington's Clerk says he could see an increase of 30 to 40 percent in the number of people filing for marriage certificates. A federal judge has struck down Virginia’s 2006 constitutional prohibition on same-sex marriage, but stayed that decision pending final resolution of the matter at the appeals level. Virginia had about 14,200 same-sex couples, according to 2010 Census figures. A recent study by the Williams Institute suggests that about half would choose to marry in Virginia if the option becomes available.

PG GOVERMENT BRANCHING OUT - The influx of immigrant populations is changing the face of Prince George’s County in population and where that population needs Government services. In many case people don't have the cars are ability to travel to County offices in Upper Marlboro, so now the County offices are coming to them. Today Prince George's will open a multi-service center in Langley Park and it's , the first of three government centers designed to deliver social services directly to communities that need them most. Officials aren't done yet, two more centers in the central and southern sections of the county, are being planned.
