DETROIT (WJBK) - A Detroit woman says thieves stole from her apartment, then taunted her by sending her a video of the stolen goods.

Elaine Milas knew something wasn't right when she returned to her home at the Avon Place Apartments on Six Mile and Telegraph roads. "My apartment door was wide open. I walked in; I saw two flat screens gone. So, I started looking around the house for other stuff. He took a few other things, too," she says. Among the items missing are money orders worth $1,300.

Milas is a single mother and a part-time student, and says the $5,000 worth of property stolen from her was quite a hit.

She believes whoever came into her apartment had a key, but does not recognize either of the two suspects seen on surveillance video.

Then, making matters worse for her, she says she received a video, via the app Glide, that showed someone playing a video game on her stolen TV.

"I felt totally violated, then he turned around and send me a video of it," she says. "He's pretty much having a ball with that [TV]."

Milas says she has changed her locks.

If you recognize the suspects in the video or their getaway vehicle contact the Detroit Police Department.
