Septa Regional Rail Train Slams Into SUV

BENSALEM, Pa. - A Septa Regional rail train on the West Trenton line slammed into a SUV that was stuck on the track at 5:35 p.m.

 The SUV got stuck on the rail near the Neshaminy Falls station along Bristol Road and Grove Avenue in Bensalem, Pa according to SEPTA officials.

The Septa line was traveling 20-25 mph at the time of impact.

 No one on board the train was hurt. No one was found inside the SUV at the time of impact.

The 70 passengers who were on-board the train involved are being transferred to shuttle buses to continue their trip

Train service is still operating on a single track through the area, with delays of 15-20 minutes at this time.
