Montgomery County Schools Superintendent Joshua Starr is kicking off a new cybercivility campaign.

He has created a new task force aimed at teaching children to be safe and civil online. It comes after he received some threatening Twitter post this winter while he was deliberating over whether to close the schools for snow.

On Thursday night, Starr hosted a community forum with Andrea Weckerle, author of “Civility in the Digital Age” and president of CiviliNation. She had some important advice for parents.

FOX 5's Lauren DeMarco has more.
