Crews handle mop-up operations on O'Donnell Fire

Posted: Updated:

Wildland fire crews are working to contain a wildfire burning near O'Donnell, Arizona.  The fire is now at an estimated 600 acres.

A report says that the fire is burning near the Santa Cruz County/Cochise County line, but that the progression of the fire has slowed down.  On Sunday crews are continuing mop-up operations.  Wildfire officials say the fire is now 65 percent contained.

The initial cause is suspected to be a lightning strike.
