CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville was fined $25,000 by the National Hockey League for an inappropriate gesture he made during Game 1 of the playoffs Thursday night against the St. Louis Blues.

Quenneville, clearly not happy with a call in the second overtime of the game, was caught grabbing is groin and yelling at the referees after they failed to call a penalty.

According to the Tribune, Coach Q apologized Friday saying, "I was definitely excited and disappointed at the call. I apologize for my behavior. It wasn't very appropriate at all. It was a bush-league move on my part."

The Blues won the game in triple overtime with a final score of 4-3.
