TSA Agents Find Dangerous Object Hidden In An Enchilada

Posted: Updated:

TSA agents at the Sonoma Airport say a knife was found in a woman's carry-on bag and hidden in quite the unusual way.

Agents at a screening station for Alaskan airlines found an eight inch knife concealed in an enchilada!

"This item turned out to be an eight-and-a-half inch knife that was inside of a wrapped enchilada. The woman said she had made the enchilada over the weekend and she really didn't know how the knife got into the bag, TSA Spokesman, Nico Melendez.

The woman was questioned by Oakland Deputy Sheriffs who eventually cleared her for travel.

But the TSA could still inflict heavy penalties on the woman ranging anywhere to $10,000.

The woman maintains she has no idea how the knife got inside the lunch item.
