Siva from The Wanted going solo

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Success from his time with the British boy band The Wanted has opened lots of doors for singer/ songwriter Siva Kaneswaran.

He's now ready to set out on his own.

"After the tour we’re all going to take a break and do our own individual things. I’m going to do music, acting. It’s just going to be me, crazy," said Siva.

The tour currently making its way across the United States makes a stop at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan on Friday night. The 'Word of Mouth' show begins at 7:30 p.m.

When the band got into town earlier this week, Siva hopped into a cab with a way too excited cabbie.

“I got in a car crash. It was fine. I was basically talking to the guy. The driver was a fan. He parked on the pedestrian crossing so he put the car in reverse and reversed back, but left the car in reverse so we went to set off on the green light and he went on the gas, we went back ,” said Siva.

Beyond being a little rattled, the handsome 26-year-old has bigger things on his mind as of late. He's also getting ready to walk down the aisle.

"We’re getting married in 2015. I’m such a guy. I don’t know anything. My missess knows everything. I will be on time. I want to be hands on I want to plan it,” said Siva.

Singer Constantine Maroulis is back on Broadway in Rock of Ages and he couldn't be more excited. “It's incredible. I think every actor's dream is to create a role that becomes an iconic show all around the world. The show is played for millions of people. To be back on Broadway is a great time,” said Maroulis. The Brooklyn born New Jersey raised performer returned to the role he helped create this summer. The question was never if, but when, he would come back.
