ATLANTA, Ga. -

Baseball season is finally here and the Atlanta Braves will be hosting their first home game of the season Tuesday night. The braves have a few tips for anyone looking to attend the game.

The game is expected to start at 7:10pm, but large crowds are expected so fans are encouraged to arrive early. Parking lots will open at 2:00 PM and Turner Field's gates will open at 4:00 PM.

If you are interested in parking at Turner Field for the game you must pre-purchase a parking permit on the braves' website. Braves parking lots will be permit only.

Fans are encouraged to take alternate routes of transportation to Turner Field. The MARTA Braves shuttle begins running 90 minutes prior to the first pitch from Underground Atlanta/Five Points MARTA station to Turner Field until one hour after the final out.

Turner field ticket windows and kiosks will open at 9:30 AM for fans who would like to purchase any remaining seats.

Fans are encouraged to be seated by 6:15 PM for a special pregame ceremony honoring the 40th Anniversary of Hank Aaron's 715th career home run.

The first 45,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative poster of Hank Aaron.  There will also be a pregame concert featuring Kristian Bush from Sugarland.

The braves will also unveil their 2013 National League East Championship banner during the game.
